Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.

What we collect

• Order information: what you bought, your name, shipping address, email address and order history.
• Payment information is handled by our payment processor. Card numbers never reach our servers and we do not store them.
• Support correspondence, including any photos you send us about an order problem.
• An email address you give us to be notified about something specific — a product coming back into stock, or the live auctions beginning. We store the address and what you asked to hear about, nothing else, and we use it only for that.
• Usage analytics: page views, and three moments in the shopping flow — adding something to the bag, starting checkout, and completing an order. These are counts. They carry no name, email, address or order number.

Cookies and analytics

The store sets one cookie of its own: a session cookie that remembers what is in your bag as you move between pages. It is not used for advertising and it does not follow you to other websites.

Our usage analytics are provided by Vercel, who also host the site. We do not currently run advertising or social-media tracking pixels on the store. If that changes — when we begin advertising, for instance — this page will be updated before it does, and we will add a cookie choice wherever one is required.

What we do with it

Fulfil your order, answer your questions, and understand which parts of the site work. Marketing email only if you asked for it, and you can stop it at any time.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not have access to your browsing history on other sites, and any store that tells you it knows what you searched for elsewhere is describing advertising data, not clairvoyance.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. An address you gave us for a notification is kept until we have sent that notification or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email support@beautyvaultz.com. Some order records must be kept for tax and accounting reasons even after a deletion request.
